Remerciments Randonnée des couleurs

Le Club Quad du Pontiac,

tient à remercier tous ceux et celles qui ont participé à notre randonnée des couleurs.

Quelle randonnée, un succès sur toute la ligne, aucun incident.

• 124 véhicules hors-route, venus des quatre coins du Québec.

Quelle ne fut pas notre surprise, nous ne nous attendions pas à un si grand nombre. On s’est vite ajustés en organisant deux départs au lieu d’un avec un intervalle d’une vingtaine de minutes entre chacun.

Un gros merci à la

• municipalité d’Otter Lake et au Centre Récréatif nous ayant permis de stationner tous ces véhicules et leurs remorques.

On tient aussi à remercier

• restaurant J & A Bowers qui s’est ajusté afin de servir les 145 quadistes et non les 60 comme prévu. Chapeau, ils ont relevé le défi haut la main.

La température était idéale et les couleurs étaient au rendez-vous, on ne pouvait demander mieux.

Plusieurs d’entre eux nous ont demandé à quand notre prochaine randonnée, en nous promettant de revenir dans le Pontiac.  Tous ont bien apprécié nos sentiers.

En terminant, le Club Quad du Pontiac tient aussi à remercier

• La Sûreté du Québec de Campbell’s Bay pour l’aide apportée lors des départs, ceci fut très apprécié.

Un gros merci à notre organisateur maison, Guy Chénier et on se dit à la prochaine.

The Pontiac Quad Club

would like to thank all those who participated in our Randonnée des couleurs.

What a hike, a success across the board, no incidents.

• 124 off-road vehicles from all over Quebec. What a surprise, we did not expect such a large number.

We quickly adjusted ourselves by organizing two departures instead of one, with an interval of about twenty minutes between each one

A big thank you to

• the Municipality of Otter Lake and to the Recreation Center for allowing us to park all these vehicles and their trailers.

We want to take this opportunity to thank the

• J & A Bowers Restaurant, for adjusting to serve the 145 ATV riders and not the 60 as planned. Hats off to them, they know how to cope with a big crowd.

The temperature was ideal and the fall colors were there, we couldn’t ask for more.

Several bikers asked us, as to when our next hike would be, promising to come back to the Pontiac.  Everyone enjoyed our trails.

In closing, the Pontiac Quad Club would also like to thank

• the Sûreté du Québec of Campbell’s Bay for the help provided during the departures, this was appreciated.
